Madi Schillinger

Hello, my name is Madison Schillinger, and I am attending the University of North Florida majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics. I am in my senior year, and I plan to stay at UNF to obtain my master's and become a Registered Dietitian once I pass the national exam. I enjoy working in a team environment and I love to help others, which is a huge reason for why I have chosen my degree.

I bring a good attitude to the working environment as well as good communication skills. I am a hard worker and strive to help improve the workplace in any way I can.

I have had a lot of experience volunteering, but I have not had a job before. I have volunteered at Ertha's farm and market, BEAM food pantry, and the DOCK (Dorcas Outreach Center for Kids). I was able to experience different tasks like assisting customers with shopping, stocking shelves, unboxing perishable food items, and organizing them at BEAM.

At Ertha's farm and market, I was able to assist with different gardening tasks and helped push heavy loads of dirt and fertilizer. At the DOCK I got to tutor the kids, help plan the Bible lessons as well as the other lessons they were taught for everyday life, and helped clean and sanitize the rooms after the kids were picked up.

I graduated from Covenant Christian School in May of 2021. I am now attending UNF.
