Hi, I’m Madie— a dedicated and compassionate Sports Medicine student at the University of Southern Mississippi, working toward my B.S. degree with an expected graduation in May 2025. I have a passion for helping others, whether it's through injury care on the sidelines or creating a welcoming environment in retail or childcare settings.
With over 700 observation hours in athletic training, I’ve gained hands-on experience in taping, first aid, rehab, and working closely with athletes and certified professionals. I also have a strong background in customer service and multitasking from my roles in retail and babysitting. I’m CPR, First Aid, and BLS certified and always eager to learn and grow.
I’m currently looking for part-time opportunities where I can use my skills, reliability, and positive attitude to make a difference — whether in a clinical, customer-focused, or front desk role.
I have experience in both healthcare and customer-facing roles. As a student athletic trainer at Holmes Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi, I completed over 700 observation hours assisting with injury prevention, taping, first aid, and basic rehabilitation under the supervision of certified athletic trainers. I've worked with football, basketball, and softball teams, developing strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
In addition, I have retail and childcare experience, including roles as a sales associate and babysitter, which strengthened my customer service, organization, and multitasking abilities. I’m dependable, adaptable, and thrive in both fast-paced and care-focused environments.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine at the University of Southern Mississippi, with an expected graduation date of December 2025. My coursework has focused on injury assessment, anatomy, rehabilitation techniques, and patient care. I also hold an Associate of Arts in Pre-Athletic Training from Holmes Community College.
Through my academic training and hands-on field experience, I’ve developed a strong foundation in healthcare support, communication, and clinical skills. I am CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support certified.
