I am a J.D. candidate at Southwestern Law School, currently in my first year of a two year accelerated J.D. program called SCALE.
I have been a musician for over a decade and have an interest in Entertainment Law. I have played the saxophone for over 12 years and my repertoire ranges widely from classical to jazz to pop. I have played with various ensembles around the Los Angeles area including the CSUN Wind Ensemble, the Los Angeles Winds, and various Big Bands.
Although my experience aligns with Entertainment and Music Law, I have many other areas of interest.
Before coming to law school, I had worked for over 2 years at a subrogation law firm as a litigation and clerical assistant. This is where I gained most of my law firm experience. I have also worked for a talent manager for over year and helped manage various influencers in terms of their social media, marketing, and other events.
I studied at California State University, Northridge where I earned a bachelor's in Music Industry Studies. I studied various aspects of entertainment law in my undergraduate program such as copyright law, publishing, licensing, and music management. I also had an internship working for a talent manager and event planning company where I learned a lot about management and marketing.
