Maiya Allen

I am a 27 year old graduate with an Associates and Bachelors Degree in Speech Communications, with a minor in Communication Science Disorders and a certification as an Audiology Assistant. I am passionate about helping others in any way I can. I am also a team player. I enjoy keeping things organized and strive to reach whatever goals I have set.

Over the years, I have assisted the youth, including children with autism, in various ways by providing childcare services and adapting my communication style accordingly. I have also worked in a daycare facility where I assisted with learning and sensory development. I have performed data entry and filing for patient and insurance records, as well as submitted claims to government agencies.

In addition, I have performed elderly care at multiple jobs, including daily care needs like feeding, dressing, hygiene and mobility assistance, of which some of the elderly were under memory care. As part of my Audiology Assistance program, I have performed numerous hearing screenings as a volunteer.
