Welcome! My name is Marco Sarabia. I went to Cal Poly Pomona, graduated with a BS in Applied Mathematics. I have skills with Microsoft excel, publisher, word, presentation, access. I would say I am proficient. I also have some programming skills with SQL, matlab, python, and R. I want to get into the actuary field. I recently passed the financial mathematics exam and probability exam, and I am hoping to catch a break and start gaining experience within the field.
I used to be a supplemental instructor for Chaffey college. I would go to classrooms and presents a schedule to students in math class. Tell them about myself, show my skills in math, and offer hourly sessions for students to visit if the need help. I would make flyers and pass them out each lecture, outline topics I will discuss each day. Sometimes assist the professor if he needs help.
I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2017 with a BS degree in Applied Mathematics, statistics option.
