Maria Brozic

I am a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant currently pursuing a nursing degree at Ohlone College. I bring 3 years of hands-on patient care experience across acute, post-acute, sub-acute, and hospice settings, along with 1.5 years of clinical experience as a student nurse. I demonstrate a strong ability to support registered nurses in delivering safe, high-quality patient care while preserving patient dignity, comfort, and safety.

I possess a solid foundation in human anatomy, medical terminology, and evidence-based patient care through both clinical practice and ongoing nursing education.

Professional experience includes working as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Golden Heart Nursing Agency for 3 years, providing direct patient care across post-acute, sub-acute, and hospice settings at multiple skilled nursing facilities. Demonstrated strong clinical skills in monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility and ADLs, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. In addition to healthcare experience, served in leadership roles with Morgan Hill Volleyball Club for 4 years, managing multiple programs and teams while fostering positive communication with families and resolving concerns professionally.

Earlier experience as a Lifeguard for 5 years this strengthened emergency response, critical thinking, teamwork, and adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.

Currently enrolled in an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program with an expected graduation date of May 2026. Completed 540 clinical hours as a student nurse at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley (Pleasanton), Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center, and Washington Hospital (Fremont), gaining hands-on experience in acute care settings.
