Hi, there!
I am a married mother of 4 children and to 2 GoldenDoodle dogs. Though I am licensed and reside in Florida, I am also licensed in Texas and Washington State. I also hold teaching certification (ESA) in Washington state and have a Statement of Eligibility for the state of Florida.
I have over 20 years of experience in a variety of settings: virtual therapy, public and private schools, skilled nursing facilities, day treatment facilities, home health, and outpatient pediatric therapy. I enjoy working with children and adults; whether thats assisting them to functionally and confidentally communicate in all aspects of their lives or assisting them in increasing the strength of their oral and pharyngeal musculature for swallowing and increased quality of life. I love it all and it shows in how I engage each patient and their family/caregivers.
I earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida. I am VitalStim Certified and am certified in Myofascial Release Techniques.
