My name is Mario Sanchez Gumiel, and I am a Ph.D. student and instructor of Spanish at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. I also have professional experience as a librarian, archivist, video editor, and teaching film, television, and media. Some of my areas of interest are science fiction, teaching Spanish as a second language, and the study of digital media.
In addition to my Ph.D. and my experience as an instructor of Spanish, I am a certified DELE examiner by the Cervantes Institute, and I have the teaching qualification DADIC-A.
