R.N. from 1976 until 1994.In 1994 I graduated with a Masters degree in Nurse Practitioner program from Barry University in Miami Shores Florida.As an RN I was acritical care nurse.CCU,Micu;SiCU.I then went into E.R ,Until Jackson built a free standing Trauma Center.The name of this trauma center is Ryder Jackson memorial trauma center.I am proud to say I was one of the nurses who opened that building.I have both a certified Emergency Room nurse and a Certified Trauma Nurse.I am also ANCC certified as a Nurse practitioner
My most relevant education was at Barry University.I feel it was a great program with great instructors. It is a catholic university ,so I had a few nuns as teachers.( did not get any knuckles Whacked).It was a great program compared to some others I heard about.
