I'm a Mechanical Engineering Student going into my senior year at UW Platteville. I have training in SolidWorks and Creo as modeling software, I am in the process of learning how to code with Python and have a minor in French. I am a hard worker, motivated, goal oriented, creative, organized, and persevering.
I bring a positive attitude to work with me. I have had one internship previously at Provisur which entailed 3D modeling of parts for grinders and mixers saving these files into a codified system and ensuring these parts worked with the rest of the machinery. Analysis of flow rates within the systems in order to determine the margin of error in manufactured parts.
Working with the rest of the engineering team on machines with interlocking parts. Basic knowledge of CE and OSHA guidelines for machinery. Before that I worked as a camp counselor for several years giving me a good grasp of customer service and how to work with a team.
Currently I work for a professor at UW Platteville, Dr.
Hamilton. It is detail oriented work where I help measure the adhesion properties of polymer that we create in Dr. Hamilton's company which is used for cleaning lenses. Analyzing this data and creating graphics for presentations that Dr.
Hamilton presents our findings at. Creating and replacing parts for the adhesion tester and building the new model of the adhesion maker. Resurfacing mirrors with a sputter coater so that the polymer we create can be tested on them in order to decrease the number of pinholes in the mirrors.
