Matthew Coulson

I will enter my third year as a chemistry major at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. I grew up in the Cincinnati area and attended The Seven Hills School.

I have experience in planning the synthesis of novel organic compounds and have performed research creating metal complexes with aza-crown ethers.

I am trained in analytical methods, including thin-layer chromatography, gas chromatography, spectrophotometry, infrared spectroscopy, and proton and carbon NMR. I have completed courses in Organic and Analytical chemistry.
