I have worn a few different hats during my professional career. I started out with an Anthropology BA (2013) from UC Berkeley and a desire to work in the entertainment industry, spending 5 incredibly busy years busy in post-production, video editing, and media management for both film, television, and short-form digital content. I went back to school for an MA in Cultural Heritage Management from Sonoma State University (2022), and have worked in CHM primarily as an archaeologist since 2018.
My most recent position (2023), as a Digital Archaeologist on an Arizona State University grant-funded project with the U.S.
Service, is directly focused on archival and collections management work. I have enjoyed this change of focus away from archaeological fieldwork, and seek to grow in the field of Archiving, Collections Management and Library Sciences.
