Mauricio Machado

I’m Mauricio Machado, a recent Landscape Architecture graduate from Cal Poly Pomona. I’m passionate about designing spaces that blend creativity, sustainability, and community impact. I’ve worked on a variety of academic and freelance projects that helped me develop strong skills in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, D5 Render, and Adobe Creative Suite.

I enjoy the process of bringing ideas to life through both design and visualization, and I’m always looking for new ways to connect people with the environment through thoughtful, well-crafted landscapes.

My work has included conceptual design, 3D modeling, rendering, and construction documentation for residential, public, and community-based spaces. I have moderate experience with Revit, D5 Render, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite, which I’ve used to develop clear, creative, and technically accurate designs. My background has helped me build strong design, visualization, and problem-solving skills while collaborating with others to bring ideas to life.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona, where I developed a strong foundation in design, site planning, and environmental systems. My coursework included grading and drainage, planting design, sustainable design, and construction documentation.
