Hi! I'm Max Rose! I'm from Los Angeles, CA on the run to relocate to New York, NY. Attending a small liberal arts college in Pennsylvania, I was able to stand out and create my own learning curriculum to accommodate for my double-major of English/Creative Writing & Film/Video Production. I am an aspiring Production Manager/Scripted Developer with a large background – 4 years – of assistant and internship experience. I am hardworking and determined as well as an impressive multi-tasker and a positive employee! I have extensive knowledge in Microsoft Softwares, including Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook. Utilizing editorial softwares, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, has given me a multitude of skills developing my innovative films.
Last year I was fortunate enough to participate in two assistant jobs, one in Ireland and one in Culver City. Both jobs were rigorous and heavily appealing given professional responsibilities to take leadership roles in fields I've only recently been introduced to. In Culver City, for six months I took on the task of a Scripted Developer Assistant where I had complete coverage work for various screenplays, provide insight on upcoming project developments, and collaborate with studios and screenwriters to say a few. In Ireland for about four months, I was given the chance to assist DPs and collaborate with other documentarians to pitch ideas about different topics to cover as a Documentarian Assistant.
None of those compare the extensive experience I was introduced to at my internships. In 2021, Project X Entertainment in North Hollywood hired me as their Project Intern where I was graciously allowed to recommend actors/actresses as well as directors/writers for projects, create pitch decks, pitch innovative and original ideas. At my first internship in 2020 with the Arlook Group, I proved myself to be a Head Intern where I was able to give input on how to adapt documentaries and recent news articles into film ideas as well as take leadership opportunities to head a script.
I recently graduated Muhlenberg College located in Allentown, PA in May 2023. Working persistently, I was acknowledged as a Magna Cum Laude recipient ending the year with a 3.7. I double-majored – fortunate to create my own major of Screenwriting/Creative Writing – in English (with a focus in Screenwriting/Creative Writing) & Film Studies (with a focus in Video Production/Cinematography).
Relevant coursework supporting my major include: Film Analysis, History in Asian Cinema, 3 years of Video Production, Cinematography, Writing the TV Spec Script, Playwriting, Screenwriting, Documentary Filmmaking
