College Student Looking for Summer 2026 Internship

I’m a 19‑year‑old Environmental Toxicology major, and I’m really interested in how research can help us better understand and improve human health. My interest in this field is personal—several family members have had cancer. Growing up with that has made me curious about how the environment and genetics affect health, and it’s a big reason why I want to learn more about this type of science. I am looking for any type of scientific related internship that would help me get real experience and develop my career in science.
I have no scientific related experience, but I do have strong organizational and analytic skills along with great communication skills. I look forward to start building my career in science.
Second year student at UC Davis, majoring in Environmental Science. Will be a Junior as of June 2026.
The only paying job I have had was working at Trader Joes, helping customers, as a cashier and stocking and organizing product in the store.
