Hello! I am a registered nurse from Port Hueneme, California. I am licensed in both Pennsylvania and California. I previously worked in the home health field as a RN Case Manager and loved the job. My most recent nursing position was as a Home Health Case Manager for Lutheran SeniorLIFE VNA in Pennsylvania. I managed a case load of patients by communicating closely with them and their physicians multiple times weekly, and also performed in-home nursing visits as ordered by their physician. I followed up on outpatient appointments or if applicable, emergency room visits, and updated their plans of care as needed.

I cared for patients with diverse health needs, including at-home IV infusion (antibiotics, prolastin, etc), wound care (pressure ulcers, lymphedema, venous stasis wounds, post-surgical wounds, ostomies, trauma wounds, wound vac, PICO dressing, etc), ostomy care, catheter care (male, female, subrapubic), education about various disease processes, and any other needs the patients had. I communicated closely with our social worker and mental health RN to ensure each patient received the services and care they needed to fully thrive and heal. I was nominated for and awarded the Butler County Health Care Consortium Health Care Worker of the Year Award in 2024 for my work as a Home Health Case Manager for Lutheran SeniorLIFE VNA.

I earned the highest score of my class on the comprehensive end-of-year HESI exam just prior to graduation. I then graduated college with my Associate's of Applied Science, Registered Nursing degree in May of 2022. I took and passed the NCLEX exam in July of 2022 and passed on my first try.
