I am a special education teacher and graduate student working toward a degree in clinical psychology, with a strong interest in mental health, human behavior, and culturally responsive care. My background in education and psychology informs my ability to connect with diverse populations, foster inclusive environments, and approach communication with empathy and insight. I also bring experience as a communications professional, with a foundation in strategic communications, digital media, and graphic design—skills that enhance my ability to engage communities, advocate for change, and amplify meaningful stories.
I have a diverse professional background that bridges communications, education, and mental health. Currently, I work as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, where I lead strategic communications efforts for government clients, including the FDA, Air Force, and Aerospace teams. My work includes creating visual design assets, developing training materials, and producing digital media content to help communicate complex initiatives clearly and effectively.
Previously, I served as a Special Education Teacher through Teach For America, supporting middle school students with learning disabilities by developing individualized education plans and managing a team of teaching assistants. I’ve also worked as a freelance social media manager for influencers and small businesses, helping to grow their brands through content creation and audience engagement. Across every role, I bring a commitment to accessibility, equity, and thoughtful storytelling.
I earned my B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Communications from American University and completed a Visual Design program at General Assembly. While teaching full-time through Teach For America, I completed my Special Education credential at Loyola Marymount University, where I gained hands-on experience in inclusive education. I’m currently pursuing my M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University, driven by my passion for mental health, human behavior, and culturally responsive care.
My educational path reflects my dedication to integrating psychology, communication, and education in meaningful and impactful ways.
