Production Associate III at Stryker (2016-05 – 2026-04)
Responsible for executing production work orders with accuracy and consistency, ensuring all tasks are performed in full compliance with established procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Fully trained and proficient across multiple stations, demonstrating exceptional versatility and reliability within the department.
- Maintain high standards of quality by reviewing documentation for accuracy, identifying errors, and ensuring proper completion of all required paperwork.
- Serve as the Safety Champion by tracking safety observations, ensuring monthly fire extinguisher inspections are completed and signed off, attending safety meetings, and maintaining accurate safety metrics.
- Lead employee engagement efforts as the Engagement Champion, planning and coordinating monthly activities that support workforce involvement and morale.
- Act as a certified ER+ Emergency Response Team member, maintaining CPR and AED certifications and being trained to administer EpiPens when necessary.
- Provide leadership within the sharpening room by serving as the Lead for LAPS devices, guiding team members and supporting daily workflow while maintaining productive operations.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by participating in 5S initiatives, cleanliness routines, and ongoing safety programs.
- Maintain personal production logs and digital trackers, including Beginning‑of‑Shift (BOS) and End‑of‑Shift (EOS) inventory and productivity tracking.
- Read, interpret, and plan work based on the build schedule to ensure smooth production flow and adherence to deadlines.
- Submit purchase orders for supplies, ensuring the department has the resources needed for uninterrupted operations.
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork, supporting other employees through task guidance, clarification of procedures, and consistent process ownership.
- Provide regular feedback to leadership regarding process and procedural improvements, reinforcing a culture of quality and collaboration.
- Independently follow all procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies while maintaining dependable attendance and punctuality.
