Hello, my name is Michael Bariso and I recently graduated from William Patterson University of New Jersey. I have been working in the sports industry for the last year and looking to further my experience. I have played and watched sports my whole life and working anywhere that involves sports is true passion.
Through sports I feel I have gained some valuable skills like teamwork, communication, and leadership. However, through work experience and school I have also gained some valuable skills like computer skills, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
My current job is Events and Gameday Staff for the New York Jets were I help running events they run and help on gamedays setting things up on a tight schedule for thousands to see. I have been working for the NYJ for the past year almost now and ran a variety of different events. For example as some events I've help ran, this past week we ran a nonprofit event packing meals for kids. As my other work experience I was an operations intern for HoopGroup. I helped the buildup to the event making calls and documenting what we had. I worked there for 6 months.
I recently graduated from William Patterson University of New Jersey with a major in Sports Management and a minor in communication. I had a 3.71 gpa and took a variety of courses for business, computer skills, and communication classes.
