Michael Carver

I am 20 years old, I’m a triplet with 2 sisters and a younger brother and I have about 6 ½ years of experience in telecommunication. Since I was little my dad would take me to his jobs and teach us about telecommunications, later on we would be on projects with his company and I ended up really liking it. Over the past 6 ½ years I have worked in Utah, Nevada, California, Washington D.C. and Tennessee. I have a lot of experience driving scissor lifts and booms and working 40-60 hour weeks.

I have been working in telecommunications for about 6 ½ years with my dad, and it is something I really enjoy doing. I am used to working long hours and it’s something I’m comfortable with. i have experience pulling and terminating copper for network infrastructure. Some of the Projects I have worked on include, Lowe’s hardware store where we changed out and fixed ap’s in about 90% of their sites in Utah, Nevada and California.

I have also done a couple jobs with FedEx were we ran all of the cableing for speaker, cameras and data drops. I have worked in 3 of there facilities in Utah and 6 in Tennessee including their world headquarters and their current project in building an airport Working 40-70 hour weeks. I have a lot of experience working on job sites with multiple crews and companies and making sure we can work together efficiently without getting in the way of each other.

I have about 3 years experience driving booms and scissor lifts. To me the reason I enjoy working in telecommunications is because I love seeing the end result knowing that I did that and learning how things work especially when it affects a lot of people like with a lot of the FedEx warehouses. Whenever I order stuff I can see how it stopped at this location and I know that it got to me because I was working there.
