Project Experience – Experience in Project Planning and Execution. Able to monitor costs over project duration including labor, subcontractors, materials, vendors, and other direct cost (ODC’s). Able to track actual project costs against estimates to evaluate cost effectiveness and improve future accuracy.
Coordinate with Project Management to identify and quantify project risks, forecast schedule requirements, and take corrective action if needed. Oversee invoicing, progress reporting and cashflow. Initiate projects kick off and project close out.
Estimating/Pricing/Proposals – Able to assist with pre-construction activities. RFP/RFI/ analysis. Capability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints. Thorough proposal teams’ communication. Able to prepare and submit complete, organized bid packages within company guidelines. Assist with permitting. Understanding of Plan Analysis, Quantity Take Offs, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Work Orders, Purchasing/Lead Times, Cost Research, Risks & Contingencies.
Contracts - Understanding of: CPFF, FFP, T&M, & GMP contracts. Change Orders, Billing Milestones, Invoicing instructions & customer deliverables/progress reports.
SW Experience – Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Teams, Outlook. Quick understanding of numerous S/W programs – currently becoming familiar with Pro-Core, Bluebeam, Sage, PlanSwift, Buildertrend, Foundation.
Communication – Solid and clear interaction skills with upper management, project managers, project team, design professional, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and town authorities. Professional attitude and organized.
Training/Certifications – OSHA 10-Hour Safety Training certified. CPR certified. Plans for OSHA 30 as well as Massachusetts building code classes. Valid driver’s license. PMP certified - Project Management Professional.
Yard/Shop – Understanding of construction site etiquette. Focus on a neat, well-organized, efficient, and safe job site. Experience with the safe operation and maintenance of basic hand & power tools.
Additional Relevant information – Strong interest in Business Development/Sales. Eager to identify and pursue bidding opportunities to support company growth and stability. Home Watch capable-Storm/Weekend/Holiday availability. I am interested in Real Estate, Architecture, Community, Community Space & Preservation.
