I taught after school and summer programs for Young Audiences and Community works for over seven years. My classes included English, Songwriting, Journalism, Music, and Cooking. I also taught at a college level at Delgado for three years until COVID, and for two dozen years I wrote for some of the world's best publications. Most recently I owned and ran and cooked for my own restaurant and catering business in Algiers.

I hold two bachelors degrees from the University of South Florida in both English and Fine Arts.
