I coach primarily young people just graduating from college and women as well, how to improve their relationships with money, engage in their financial lives from a place of honesty and courage and master personal finance basics. I show them, using myself as an example of what can be done when they are willing to do this work and how it will pay off for the rest of their lives, from a financial standpoint, but almost more importantly with a heightened sense of agency and financial confidence.

I have been a salesperson for the majority of my career. I am also an entrepreneur. My sales background taught me how to build relationships with clients and manage the entire sales process. There roles were all 100% commission so I had to hustle to build the businesses.

I struggled with money for decades raising two kids on my own with no child support or alimony and awoke several years ago to the realization that I knew nothing about money and needed to learn quickly. I then read 225 books and completely changed my financial situation. I therefore quit my sales job to begin teaching others what I had learned in an effort to avoid seeing primarily women end up where I had found myself just a few years earlier.

That morphed into teaching kids which is the most rewarding work I can imagine doing.

My recent education, other than a financial coaching certificate, was quite honestly self taught. I read for years and implemented the strategies I learned. It has served me well and I continue to learn on a weekly basis in order to serve my clients in the best way I can.
