Michelle Mapp is a seasoned nonprofit executive, consultant, and leadership coach with more than 15 years of experience guiding mission-driven organizations through growth, transition, and increased impact. She has served as CEO, interim executive director, and senior advisor to nonprofits across the U.S. and internationally, leading board development, strategic planning, organizational restructuring, fundraising diversification, and executive transitions. Her work spans grassroots organizations and global nonprofits, where she has launched new programs and revenue streams, secured government and philanthropic funding, strengthened governance and operations, and led organizations through periods of significant change, including COVID-era recovery. Through her consulting and coaching practice, Michelle partners with nonprofit leaders to build resilient organizations by aligning strategy, leadership capacity, and mindset.
Michelle Mapp holds an MBA with Distinction from Warwick Business School (UK) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication from The George Washington University, with a minor in Speech Communication. She also earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University, grounding her leadership work in strong governance, strategy, and mission-driven financial management.
