I am a Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with 36 years’ experience in Pediatrics; developmental, movement, neurologic, genetic and orthopedic disabilities.
My work and competence evolved from a variety of settings; inpatient acute care including the NICU/ PICU, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient, school-based program, community and home setting. Through my experience, I established a strong clinical background with proficiency in comprehensive assessments and treatment plans as well as knowledge and skill with equipment and orthoses. Professional growth is important to me; I value continuing education, research, colleague collaboration and enjoy learning from every patient and family.
I am dedicated to provide meaningful sessions to develop, restore or maintain mobility and function, promote health and improve the ability to participate in daily life.
I live in Florida with my husband and two dogs; a golden retriever and a weimaraner. Outside of Physical Therapy, I enjoy spending time on the beautiful island of Bonaire and have many hobbies including photography, gardening, painting, scuba diving, cooking/ baking boating and sports.
