I am a recent graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience and a minor in Creative Writing. I work in a research lab studying the effects of hearing loss on balance and I work as a part-time writer.
I work in an auditory and vestibular research lab utilizing an animal model to try and solve problems relating to balance and hearing loss. I help take care of and train the rats as well as run the experiments and complete data analysis using MATlab and Excel. I have worked in an fMRI Psychiatry lab as well.
The lab used fMRI scans to study the psychological and neurological factors affecting substance abuse risk in adolescents and adults. I worked with participants in the lab and help coordinate social media promotion. I also ran screening and follow-up appointments with subjects.
I currently work as a writer and write a variety of articles, such as comparative, general, and more, for the company's clients. I write creative yet informative pieces for general informative purposes as well as advertorial purposes.
