I am currently a fourth-year student at the University of Florida studying environmental engineering with a minor in environmental justice and policy. I am specifically looking into a focus on environmental systems and ocean resource management. I balance this with the life as a student athlete, as a member of the UF women's swim and dive team.
This has opened up several opportunities for my involvement with the University of Florida, including becoming a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, where we create comradery among student-athletes from different backgrounds by discussing athletic events and providing plans for community events, such as hospital and school visits. I am also currently employed as a swim instructor for my local club team, where I teach in the learn-to-swim program and assist coaches with age group swimmers. Colleagues would describe me as passionate, driven, proactive, and responsible when it comes to my job and future careers.
