Monica Omana

I have been in the restaurant industry for about 3 years, 2 in serving and 1 as lead bartender. I’m very comfortable working in fast-paced environments while still providing friendly and attentive service. I actually thrive when it’s rush hour.

Bartending helped me sharpen my skills in multitasking and staying quick and personable with guests. Serving taught me how to stay organized and make sure every table feels taken care of. I care a lot about creating a welcoming environment for guests and making sure they leave feeling happy and valued.

Over my four years in hospitality, l've developed strong communication skills, learned how to stay calm and efficient in high-pressure environments, and eventually took on a leadership role where I helped train new staff. I really enjoy building relationships with customers and providing great service.

I’m currently enrolled in the University of North Georgia and have completed a semester so far. Balancing school and work has helped me develop strong time management and responsibility, especially in fast-paced environments. I am hoping to get my Bachelors in Business Administration in Marketing.
