I have completed all required training and hold a National EMT certification for Pennsylvania, as well as an EVOC certification to operate ambulances and BLS certification. I recently graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (GPA: 3.51). During my time at Penn State, I volunteered in three research laboratories Neurobiology, Biochemistry, and Infectious Diseases and accumulated approximately 800 hours of hospital shadowing experience at multiple facilities in Abu Dhabi, including Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Some extracurricular activities include playing Division 3 rugby for Penn State Berks, Service trips to both Laos and Kenya where we assisted locals by building houses and a school.
While I plan to pursue graduate studies to go into research in the future, my current focus gaining direct, hands-on experience in patient care. Having witnessed many medical emergencies in the past where I was unable to assist due to lack of any training, I am committed to applying my EMT skills to provide competent and timely medical assistance in the field. I'm eager to make the most out of this opportunity and provide as much aid to patients as possible aswell as a volunteering if needed.
I intend to be in the State College area for the next two years working as an EMT.
