Nathanael Sohn

I am a UX Designer based out of Chicago, IL. Prior to pursuing this field, I worked as an IT Risk consultant, assisting clients in the healthcare, banking, financial tech, and retail industries. While I enjoyed working alongside these companies, I wanted to solve challenges that I could relate to as an everyday consumer and mobile/web user.

After learning about the jobs available in the UX industry, I immediately knew that I could combine my professional experience, IT knowledge, passion in art, and empathy that could propel me in a more suitable career path.

I originally graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a double major in IT & Marketing.

During my spare time, I love to play basketball, draw, fish, watch movies, and read.

I am a public accountant turned UX Designer who loves to create user friendly designs. Growing up, I've always enjoyed putting myself in other peoples' shoes. I use that empathy along with my passion in art to drive my design decisions.
