Born and raised in a small town in Idaho, I spent my childhood riding in tractors and combines on the family farm, where I learned the value of hard work from my parents and grandparents. My passion for the medical field and nursing began early, inspired by my own experiences and a desire to help others. I am a proud mom of two wonderful children and have been married to my husband for 20 years.
I love spending time outdoors and going on mini adventures with my family. I’m an enthusiastic football fan who cheers on Boise State and sadly the New York Giants.
With seventeen years of experience in oncology, I am a committed Nurse Practitioner dedicated to advancing the quality of patient care. I hold Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Nursing from Boise State University, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, I possess a strong passion for supporting individuals in both mental health and oncology settings.
My greatest professional fulfillment arises from serving these patient populations and ensuring they have access to essential resources that promote an optimal quality of life.
During my Master of Science in Nursing program at Eastern Kentucky University, I gained invaluable clinical experience working alongside highly skilled nurse practitioners and an Oncology Psychiatrist. This hands-on training significantly enriched my expertise in both mental health and oncology care. In addition, my 21-year tenure at the same hospital organization has allowed me to collaborate with dedicated professionals who share my commitment to delivering quality patient care and improving lives.
