Nicole Marky

My name is Nicole Marky, and I am a Family Nurse Practitioner in Suffolk County. I am writing to you because I saw a job listing that I am interested in for a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner posted on indeed. I did notice that the qualifications stated two years of experience as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner; however, I wanted to reach out and discuss my prior experience.

I graduated in 2021 from The University of South Florida's (USF) Family Nurse Practitioner program. Upon graduation, I started working in Family Practice, where I now have one year of experience. While training at USF, I was fortunate to have a clinical rotation at a medical dermatology office. During this rotation, I spent over 250 hours shadowing and working alongside a dermatologist in a busy practice. We often saw 40-50+ patients daily, and I would see patients independently toward the end of the rotation. I am also certified in botox and fillers and am actively shadowing a physician that performs these services.

As stated above, I understand the experience requirements, but I would love an opportunity to discuss my desire to work as a dermatology nurse practitioner. I am motivated, hard-working, and extremely adaptable.
