Sales associate & Store manager - Footlocker - Southland Mall

I started to work at Footlocker a month after leaving tgif, the hours had worked perfectly especially since I was still in school. I am able to work on my communication skills and my team leader skills while working at footlocker. With working at Footlocker within a year I was able to secure a sales lead position which is like a third in command manager and within a few months I was able to become an assistant manager which has shown me many different skills like how to manage a team and to vocalize myself all while showing me contrasting perspectives of how to deal with customer interactions.

I was able to obtain a store manager position which allowed me to learn skills on things like how to effectively run a store floor while trying to assign tasks to team members and making sure that each customer receives one of the best customer experiences. During my time with the company I was able to show my personality which was able to help me get recognized by the RVP of the company because she had seen my passion for how much I enjoyed creating bonds with team members and with many customers.

Assistant Manager - Shoe Palace - Newpark Mall

I had started my journey with shoe palace in November of 2024 shortly after my time of being with footlocker. With both jobs being the same but with different management skills I feel as if I was able to widen up my perspective on how effectively a team should be run and how an effective management team is led. I feel as if working at shoe palace has helped me grow individually as a person due to being able to achieve recognition from the district manager due to my outgoing personality and the way I was able to create connections with others on and off the sales floor.

Server - Buffalo Wild Wings - Hayward

While working as a server at Buffalo Wild Wings it means delivering fast, friendly, and attentive service in a fun, high-energy sports bar environment. With responsibilities including greeting guests, taking and delivering food and drink orders, and ensuring every guest enjoys their dining experience. The role requires strong multitasking, teamwork, and communication skills especially during busy game nights.

As a server you also process payments, keep your sections clean, and contribute to the upbeat, welcoming atmosphere which defines Buffalo Wild Wings.

Prep cook - Chipotle - Hayward

While working at chipotle the prep cook is in charge of daily food preparation, which includes chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and making sauces in accordance with corporate guidelines. Strict food safety and hygiene procedures were upheld, appropriate portioning and quality control were guaranteed, and effective kitchen operations were supported in a hectic setting as team members worked together to satisfy high standards for customer service.
