Nikhil Agarwal

I’m a Software Engineer and recent master's in computer science graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor's in computer engineering from Rutgers University–New Brunswick. Through my work experience at Microsoft, Paramount, and Barclays, I’ve built scalable systems and applied advanced algorithms and machine learning in real-world settings.

I specialize in tutoring math, coding (Python, Java, data structures & algorithms), and standardized test preparation, helping students strengthen fundamentals, improve problem-solving speed, and perform confidently under timed conditions.

I’m currently a full-time Software Engineer at Microsoft, with prior experience at Paramount and Barclays. I’ve built and improved real production systems, worked closely with data and backend services, and regularly applied data structures and algorithms in practice. I also have firsthand experience navigating the software engineering interview process and understand how to prepare effectively for technical interviews.

Alongside engineering, I’ve tutored mathematics consistently throughout college, working with students across all levels, from elementary math fundamentals to college-level calculus. I’ve helped students strengthen core concepts, improve problem-solving structure, and build confidence in both classroom and exam settings.
