I am a dedicated and compassionate counseling intern with over 20 years of experience working in mental health and support services. Throughout my career, I’ve provided care and guidance to individuals facing emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges across various settings. With a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques, active listening, and client-centered care, I bring both empathy and professionalism to every interaction.
My background includes working alongside multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, trauma-informed support for diverse populations. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services and actively seeking internship opportunities where I can continue to grow, contribute meaningfully, and make a lasting impact.
I bring over two decade of experience in the mental health field, including direct care, behavioral support, and crisis intervention. I’ve worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults—especially individuals with autism and other developmental differences. My roles have included mental health assistant, caregiver advocate, and support staff in clinical and educational settings.
I specialize in creating safe, empathetic environments and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide client-centered care.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services, with a focus on trauma-informed care, therapeutic interventions, and holistic support for individuals and families. This builds upon my academic foundation, having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, where I developed a strong understanding of human behavior and mental health principles. My graduate training includes hands-on practicum and internship experiences that emphasize ethical practice, client advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support diverse and underserved populations.
