Shelter & Grounds Manager at The Haven (2024 - April 2026)
- Coordinating professional services for the maintenance of the shelter. (e.g snow removal, sprinkler inspection, cleaning services etc.)

- Answering incoming calls to our 24-hour Confidential Crisis Hotline, providing referrals, and offering trauma informed crisis intervention and support.
- Supporting shelter residents while maintaining shelter guidelines in a trauma informed manner and documenting all services provided in VAdata.
- Respond to the health and safety needs of shelter residents in a timely manner.
- Accurate completion of the intake process and provide shelter orientation to new residents.
- Maintain current resident files and ensure the confidentiality of all resident information.
- Provide scheduled transportation to designated locations and other transportation as requested by Crisis and Support Services Program Managers.
- Assist the shelter team in coordinating in-kind donations for the shelter; picking donations up from the administrative office, sorting & dating as necessary, and storing appropriately.

- Responsible for the physical care of a child
- Responsible for preparing child's breakfast, lunch and snack time, as well as tidying up after the children eat.
