I'm a jack of many trades but I am most experienced in Vet assistant work and working in a medical receptionist environment. I also have experience in liquor sales, customer service in all those departments. I did some work as an accounts payable specialist at a car dealership and spent a lot of time on the phones there for sure.
All in all, I am looking for a lifelong career that I can stay at and learn the best I can with opportunities to grow. I enjoy working with people and animals but since moving states due to the military, it's been hard to find a decent career.
I have spent the last year at an animal hospital doing reception work and vet technician work. I am very experienced and knowledgeable about animals and their care. I have tons of customer service experience in and out of the vet office but working with animals and their owners gives you a lot of tools when it comes to customer service.
I also spent time as an assistant manager at a liquor store and was in charge of a lot of shipments, inventory, stocking, and cashier work. money handling was definitely a part of the job. Customers are constantly needing help or asking for recommendations so you gain a lot of sale skills there and we had to push specialty items and flash sale stuff that needed to be moved out the door.
I have been in training at my last vet job up until I moved now it wasn't schooling but it was hands on training. other than that, it was when I was in high school. then left to get my Ged, so I could for a fulltime job. I was working and making great money until the pandemic and then that sent me on this search for a great career that could pay like that one did.
