I have worked in residential property insurance claims for the last 3 years. Aiding those who have experienced an unexpected catastrophe to their property is not only fulfilling work but has also allowed me to learn about different people all over the United States. Dealing hands-on with panicked, confused, or disgruntled homeowners has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of genuinely understanding customers' individual needs.
I am currently employed as a Property Claims Analyst for IAT Insurance Group, headquartered in Raleigh, NC. I have worked for this company since August 2022. Prior to working at IAT, I worked as a Catastrophe Adjuster at UPC Insurance from February 2021 - August 2022.
I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism in 2015. I also minored in Hispanic Studies and speak Spanish conversationally.
