Patrick Henderson

Hello! My name is Patrick Henderson and I'm a Story Artist! As an artist, I feel like my role goes beyond just entertainment. Story is the heart of any project. It's what allows a character to develop and grow in response to recognizable and relatable ideas that we ourselves experience every single day. A good story is one that anyone from anywhere can relate to by learning more about themselves and the world around them.

I worked as a storyboard artist for a few companies thus far. My most recent job was for an indie animation studio where I was a story artist for a currently unreleased 2D animated feature. I was also the board artist for a video game trailer for Roblox. I created, timed, and edited the animatic for said trailer.

I was a storyboard artist for Moore Statistics. It was a freelance job where I boarded out a 4-minute animation to promote the company's ideas. I also collaborated with the background artist and animator to make the schedule more efficient and streamlined. I've worked at multiple customer service, so I've deal a lot with people and customers. I also worked as a Student Leader for my school, being a role model for incoming students and helping them with whatever they needed help with.

I finished my education at Otis College of Art and Design located in Los Angeles, California. Here, I took multiple classes in various digital formats including graphic design, animation, storyboarding, and digital illustration. I did a one year mentorship with a teacher at said school as well to hone my storyboard skills.
