Hello and it's a pleasure to meet you!

As an experienced TEFL teacher with almost three years of both teaching abroad and in the United States, I'm excited to both expand my professional competencies and bring my work background to develop a culture of growth and leaning to Dubai as an English Teacher. My previous work experiences in TEFL makes me qualified for the content knowledge of this role. And in addition, I've already successfully navigated the challenges of working in international, cross-cultural work environments during my years teaching in Thailand. This has given me my proven ability to connect not only with my students, but also with my coworkers in these inter-cultural contexts.

In the interest of furthering my professional career, I'm currently enrolled in a Teacher Certification Preparation course, set to complete on December tenth, in order to obtain a Teaching License from the United States. The August 2023 start date listed in the job posting is perfect for both the needs of my current teaching contract and the Clinical Practice portion of my Certification Prep program. It is my goal to bring the competencies I develop while obtaining a qualified teaching status to create a culture of enriched learning to Kent.
