I am a seven year Alaska resident. I built my own business and after several years decided to pivot careers towards emergency medicine. I have always enjoyed backcountry sports including mountain running and backpacking.
With that came a responsibility to make sure if any of my partners or persons in the backcountry were injured I could help in someway. I started by taking my wilderness first aid course which drew me towards furthering my knowledge and education in emergency medicine. I proceeded to take my Wilderness EMT and pass the national registry with the intent on working as an EMT.
Owner and operator of a professional painting company, worked in the a hospital for 6 months as a mobility tech working in the ICU, Certified EMT.
High School Diploma, passed the NREMT.
