I have lived in Japan for the last five years and have had to navigate not only living on my own in a new culture, but also to quickly learn the content and landscape of two new jobs (English Teacher, eLearning Engineer) in which I had little previous experience. Both jobs required a detail-oriented person who could take initiative, work well independently and as part of a team, and to do so in a timely manner. I had to rely upon my skills as a problem-solver, communicator, and organizer to acquire and excel in these positions.

Responsible for the preparation and implementation of translated materials into various eLearning materials. Work closely with Project Coordinators and QA engineers to deliver highest quality localized content.

English Teacher

Lead teaching of ESL to children ages 6-10. Improve students’ ability to comprehend, read, write, and speak in English. Teach various subjects, such as math, science, and social studies, with the aim of learning English not as a subject, but as a language.
