Howdy! I am a music teacher in the Bryan-College Station area who specializes in percussion performance. I offer in-home individual lessons for percussion, piano and guitar at half hour, forty-five minute and 1 hour intervals. I teach PreK-5 Elementary Music at St.
School, and I coach drumline and percussion ensembles at College Station ISD. I'm willing to relocate for full-time music teaching positions within (preferred) or outside the state of Texas. I currently teach remote and in person.
I have ten years of teaching experience in total, encompassing both K-12 and higher education. I currently teach elementary music at St. Joseph’s Catholic School, in addition to freelance private lessons for piano, guitar and percussion.
I also currently work as a percussion specialist for College Station I.S.D., assisting in drumline technical work and percussion ensemble coaching at the high school and middle school levels. In the past, I taught individual lessons for piano, guitar and percussion through Poppler’s Music in Grand Forks and Arioso Music Academy. While attending UND for my Master’s in Music degree, I interned as percussion ensemble co-director under the advisory of Dr.
Pfeifer. I have master-level proficiency in percussion, advanced-level proficiency in piano and guitar, and intermediate-level proficiency in voice.
I graduated in May 2021 with a Master of Music (M.M.) degree in Music Performance from the University of North Dakota. I have master-level proficiency in percussion, advanced-level proficiency in piano and guitar, and intermediate-level proficiency in voice.
