As an accountant/bookkeeper, I am responsible for managing the finances for the company and ensure the financial transactions in general ledger are recorded correctly. I strong analytical skills and proficiency in using QuickBooks, Excel and other cloud based software.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely manner.
Record customer payments and reconcile A/R ledger.
Follow up on overdue payments and address customer inquiries.
Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Prepare and process payments to vendors.
Reconcile A/P ledger and address any discrepancies.
Prepare and send invoices to clients accurately and promptly.
Monitor and follow up on client payment status.
Resolve invoice discrepancies and address client inquiries.
Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Calculate and record payroll-related transactions.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
Provide management with financial insights and recommendations based on analysis.
