Bio Chemist - Intern, Researcher / Implementor at University of Missouri, Columbia, MO (2024-06 – Present)
Research Experiences for Undergraduates REU - Drug Discovery Research. Created SBDock - Slurm Batch Vina Docking, a Novel Drug Discovery Platform using High Throughput Virtual Screening (HTVS) that uses the Slurm Workflow Manager to dock hundreds of thousands to millions of ligands per hour using Autodock Vina on Hellbender supercomputer. Platform performs 3 main tasks: selecting bioactive molecules from SMILES library, parallelizing docking of ligands using Slurm Workflow Manager for rates of hundreds of thousands ligands docked per hour, and processing docked ligands to find best ones. Platform used for Tuberculosis and Wilson's disease inhibitor molecule discovery. Led BioChemistry work under Dr.
Singh and Medicinal Chemistry work under Dr.
