Karago is originally from an acting background, having appeared in critically acclaimed projects such as Gangsters, The 600: A Soldier’s Story and Twende to name a few. He has also produced several projects such as multi-award winning and critically lauded award winning short film Stand Up and the upcoming Kareem’s Oorah. In 2018, Raymond was selected amongst the 100 most influential young Kenyans by Avance Media. Raymond has also founded his own business, The Cat Productions, which operates as a production company but also provides services such as pitch decks and budgets for other filmmakers.

With all this under my belt, I is hungry for more.

My most recent job was at Wild Woods Picture and Sound in Los Angeles California. I was an administrative assistant; my Duties Consist of confirming and reporting post production scheduling on ScheduALL. Other duties include desk service, greeting clients, and picking up supplies.

I also recently worked at the Cannes Film Festival for the DPA group that was in charge of suites. Duties included reaching out to clients (actors, producers etc) via IMDB pro in order to confirm their attendance. Other tasks included emails and customer service (calling and returning calls to clients).

I received a Master's Degree from New York Film Academy in Film/Media Production. I graduated in 2022 with a 3.6 GPA. The course included studying all aspects of film and media production from the pitching to the creative aspects to the marketing and analysis.
