Risa Watkins

I am a graduate of the University of Louisville of spring 2020, with a B.S. degree in Public Health. Due to my interests in both Public Health and Oral Health, I was previously hired as a dental assistant with Aspen Dental one year, and after began my current position as a Wellness Coordinator with the African American Male Wellness Agency. Bringing wellness to the community in a palatable and accessible way is how I've been able to make a difference.

Continuously improving my communication skills to reach people where they are is a significant component to working on tasks with others and reaching a solution that fits everyone's needs.
