Seeking a senior field engineer role or management position in the wireless telecommunication, structured cabling or low-voltage construction industries where I can contribute my expertise in field operations, construction management, and extensive background as a telecom field engineer and lead. I'm looking to work in the Maryland, Washington DC area.

Commercial Cable Technician at Evurge Solutions (2026-04 – Present)

• Complete data cabling upgrade to CAT6A at Loch Raven VA Medical Center
• Pull CAT6A cabling through drop ceiling and hard ceilings from Telco Room to each data drop (ex. wall plates and Wireless Access Points)
• Lead a 4 person crew by displaying the ability to create a data pull strategy from engineering floor plans including planning and zoning work while delegating site work to the crew, tracking progress and reporting daily progress to the Project Manager
• Make adjustments and submit updates when building drawings differ from the needs of the job site
• Set up ZipWall barriers to contain dust in hospital settings, including hospice patient rooms, nurses stations, reception areas, patient exam rooms. Had to work around VA workers and patients safely
• Long Data Cable pulls (300ft+) using both 1000ft boxes of cables and reels
• RJ45 terminating using connectors and faceplate / telco room cable management
• Drilling holes and installing cable sleeves and bushings
• Comfortability working from a ladder, using drills, band saws and telecom tools

Field Engineer II at Echostar (2024-12 – 2026-04)

Echostar is the parent company of DISH Wireless and Boost Mobile.

• Construction manager duties including site walks, vendor scheduling, GC supervision, purchase orders, billing, Sup BOM creation, milestone tracking using NexsysOne, managing multiple tower crews, Pre and Post construction duties, QC/compliance
• Train other Field Engineers on site safety, site equipment installation, testing, plus in person and remote 5G cell site troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot and maintain all high-priority Boost Mobile rooftop cell sites in Washington DC and Baltimore, 150+ sites assigned assigned at once
• CAT6, Coax, Fiber troubleshoot both in cabinet (structured cabling) and at antennas, RETs and RRUs.
• Antenna load testing and PIM blanket testing
• Remote troubleshooting of antennas, radios, Nokia CSR router, DU, SiteBoss, Raycap environmental unit, RETs, and powerplant.
• Coordinate with RF engineers, integration teams, NOC, transport teams, and data center personnel.
• Schedule vendors (e.g., Verizon, Comcast) for fiber transport troubleshooting, provide onsite support with vendors when needed
• Perform data center audits, equipment swaps, structured cabling installs, site access and provide field support for equipment swaps and integrations at Equinix DC15 and DC21 IBX locations
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting for AC/DC systems, low voltage termination; perform GPS line/cone troubleshooting.
• Safety, EME compliance and remediation, OSHA compliance.
• Cell site decommissioning and progress tracking

Advanced DAS Technician at Mobile Communications America (2024-07 – 2024-12)

Installed Public Safety DAS systems in commercial facilities (Johns Hopkins, Baltimore schools, courthouse).

• ERRCS Emergency Responder Radio Communication System
• Read construction floor plans to determine DAS cabling layouts.
• Ran and terminated coax, CAT6, power, and ground cabling. Installed structured cabling for head end equipment
• Performed Anritsu cable testing including Return Loss and DTF sweeps.
• Installed UHF equipment, antennas, remotes, couplers, combiners, and splitters.
• Followed AT&T rack cabling standards.

Field Engineer (contractor) at DISH Wireless (2022-09 – 2023-10)

Field Engineer (contractor) at Nexius (2021-11 – 2022-05)

Performed over 50 new T-Mobile cabinet builds including

• Pulled and terminated CAT6, power, fiber, and GPS cabling.
• Followed detailed construction MOPs to install cabinet equipment
• Followed integration MOPs for loading scripts for newly installed equipment installation
• Conducted quality assurance work to resolve failed site audits.
• Performed 911 call testing, speed tests, and logging with G-Net Pro.

Field Engineer (contractor) at Wavsys (2020-12 – 2021-11)

Completed 50+ IXR-E router integrations for T-Mobile sites.

• Ran and terminated CAT6, fiber, GPS, and DC power cabling.
• Performed AAV cutovers including fiber runs from AAV cabinets to site cabinets.
• Submitted closeout packages with before/after documentation and updated CATS site inventory.

Field Operations Technician at T-Mobile (2014-02 – 2019-03)

Maintained 94+ cell sites, performed new site integrations, troubleshooting of existing sites, and preventative maintenance.

• Performed Ericsson hardware/software integrations on DUs for 5G, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G.
• Maintained all cell site equipment and plumbing, directed tower crew to fix issues.
• OTDR, Anritsu BTS Sitemaster, and multimeter troubleshooting, fiber fusion splicing training completed.
• Was assigned BWI DAS site, Fort Meade cell sites (access to base held), SSA Building access, harbor and Ft McHenry tunnel coverage and access.

Site Integrator & Warehouse Assistant at Pinnacle Wireless (2012-09 – 2013-05)

Supported Ericsson modernization for T-Mobile (LTE, DUW, DUG, 6102, 6131).

• Performed new site integration, built out new cabinets to MOP standards
• Performed power upgrades, site audits, inventory, and administrative closeout packages.
