I have been writing fantasy stories since 1981 when I discovered Dungeons & Dragons. I have written epic campaigns that lasted for several years at a time. I have also written several short stories that have not been published because I haven't had the money to publish them.
I have been a teacher and instructor for at least 30 years in various forms, from job instructor, youth sports coach, martial arts instructor, dog trainer, to safety manager on construction jobs. I am able to tailor my teaching to fit the students learning style instead of forcing the student to struggle with a teaching style that doesn't work for them. Teaching is my real passion. I love to see someone learn something new and then to have pride in that new skill or knowledge.
I have had many jobs over many different fields and sometimes several at once. I started my own business when I was 9 years old I had 12 regular clients for my landscaping and snow removal service.
I continued to work throughout my teens and I haven't stopped since. I worked in retail as a manager for decades. During that time I also worked, through my jobs, as a pharmacy tech, warehouse manager, multiple store manager, heavy equipment operator, longshoreman, auto mechanic, welder, pipe fitter, maintenance manager for the third largest cement company in the world (at that time), bouncer, security supervisor, chef, baker, and martial arts instructor. If you are interested in knowing what those companies were, I can provide that information upon request.
I graduated high school in 1988 and attended college for very short time before quitting to join the US Navy where I became a chef. Since then my education has been through on the job training and courses that the companies have provided, mostly in management and safety.
