Hi! My name is Ruth Hadassah Jackson, and I go by Hadassah. I am in the process of getting my LMSW and eventually LCSW. I really enjoy working with people on whatever issues they may be facing, and guiding them to become the best version of themselves that they desire. In my free time I enjoy anything involving the beach, food, and travel.
In my senior year of my BSW program I interned with the Southeastern Tennessee Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program in which I was able to be an advocate for long-term care facility residents. I really enjoyed the many different residents and staff I was able to meet and form relationships with. In my MSW program, I was an intern counselor at the Counseling and Testing Center in my university (Southern Adventist University).
There I was able to counsel students over a variety of issues such a depression, anxiety, high stress, academic struggles, and relationship issues.
In August 2022, I was able to complete my MSW with an emphasis in Mental Health.
